Born in Camperdown, Sydney on the 27th of March 1996, Joseph is one person who can only be described as a natural born racer. 'Joey' as many know him is of Australian and Peruvian decent, and is one who is also strongly focussed on educational background along with his passion for motorsport. With a hero of Ayrton Senna, Joseph is surely on the right way to something great! Despite racing being his core focus, and having also taken some of his social time, Joey is a fan of the beach, and also reading, ensuring he is physically and mentally prepared for anything he faces not only on the track but in a daily life perspective. To date, Joseph has won a total of 3 National Titles, and 19 State Titles with his greatest achievement being World #2 in Junior Max after finishing 2nd at the 2011 Rotax World Championships as well as 1st place in Junior National Light & 1st place in Junior Clubman in 2010 National Championships. Joseph’s ambition in the long term is to be a Formula 1 driver and also to be a Mechanical Engineer for a Formula 1 team to further and continue his love of racing. After being rated Australia's Number 1 Karter in 2010 by KartOz Magazine, Auto Action and Kartbook.net, Joey is well on his way to a long career in a sport that very few purely succeed in!
